The route

A stone’s throw from the beach, the path climbs through the woods on the lower slopes of the Semnoz to the Croix de Chuguet, a cross at 748 m. From there the view takes in the whole Grand Lac (the main northern basin), from Annecy’s old town to Duingt castle.

A short detour leads to the Grande Jeanne animal park. The path can be walked all year round; bus 15 stops at the start.
