The route
A gently graded loop between 1,562 and 1,793 m, linking Roselend and its small neighbour, the Gittaz reservoir, along pasture tracks and forest paths. It is the easiest outing around the lake, ideal for half a day.
Fitter walkers can extend it via the Col de la Lauze (2,331 m) and the Col des Frêtes: this variant is about 20.6 km with 975 m of ascent, returning by the road.
