The route
This is the easiest walk at the lake: an almost flat out-and-back along the east shore, the wildest one, below the cliffs of the Épine. The tourist office lists it among its “promenades confort”, walks accessible to everyone.
In spring you can see great crested grebes and coots; in autumn, the morning mist clings to the cliffs. The path runs alongside the nature reserve: stay on the trail and keep dogs on a lead.
