The route
From the Col de l’Épine road, an old charcoal burners’ path runs level through the forest of the nature reserve to the Drayère viewpoint. Together with the Reposoir viewpoint, it offers the best view of the lake and its two islands.
Little climbing and an hour and a half there and back: a good outing for the end of the day, when the low sun lights up the water.
