The route

From the village of Thollon (950 m), the path climbs to the Col de Pertuis, then follows the ridge to the Pic des Mémises, at around 1,674 m. From the top, Lake Geneva stretches across its full width, from Lausanne to the French shore.

The route is strenuous but has no exposed or technical sections. Dogs must be kept on a lead.
