The route
Above Évian, the loop circles Mont Bénand through the mountain pastures, up to 1,280 m. On one side, Lake Geneva and the Jura; on the other, the Mémises, the Dent d’Oche and the Pic Boré. Panels from the Chablais Geopark explain the landscape.
The trail is very popular and crosses grazing herds: keep dogs on a lead, and watch out for livestock guardian dogs.
