In short. Autrans-Méaudre en Vercors publishes three webcams in Méaudre: the Châtelard alpine area (base area, 1,040 m), the zip-line start (1,300 m) and the village cross-country centre (986 m), plus three in Autrans. Its legal notice forbids reproducing the website without written permission, so this page links to its webcams and gives the Open-Meteo forecast for the Méaudre base area.
Understanding the conditions
The Méaudre webcams
The Châtelard alpine area view, at the base area (1,040 m), shows the bottom of the Méaudre slopes; the zip-line start (1,300 m) shows the top of the alpine sector. The cross-country centre camera (986 m) is in the village. On 9 October 2026 the Châtelard and zip-line cameras had not sent an image for about a month: out of season, check the capture time on the resort’s website.
Méaudre and Autrans: one resort
According to the resort, alpine skiing is on two sectors, La Sure on the Autrans side and Méaudre, with a single lift pass and a free shuttle between them. Outside school holidays, the Méaudre sector opens at weekends from 9 am to 5 pm. The resort announces the season launch on 19 December 2026.
The webcams show the sky and visibility when the image was taken. The 7-day forecast is an Open-Meteo model estimate at the Châtelard base area (1,040 m), recalculated every hour. This page shows no measured snow depth and does not derive one from the forecast. None of these tells you whether a slope or lift is open; the official report does.
The official website’s terms of use do not allow its content to be reproduced without written consent. AlpeSnow respects this: the page links straight to each webcam on the resort’s website and adds the forecast and snow information.
Where are the Méaudre webcams?
At the Châtelard alpine area (base area, 1,040 m), the zip-line start (1,300 m) and the village cross-country centre (986 m), according to the Autrans-Méaudre en Vercors webcam page.
Do Méaudre and Autrans share a lift pass?
Yes: the resort sells one lift pass for its two alpine sectors, La Sure (Autrans) and Méaudre, linked by a free shuttle.
Can a webcam tell me whether the Méaudre slopes are open?
No. Snow on an image confirms neither that the slopes nor that the lifts are open: only the resort’s official report says so, with its date.
What is the weather forecast for Méaudre?
The 7-day forecast at the top of the page is the Open-Meteo model forecast for the Châtelard base area (1,040 m), recalculated every hour. It is an estimate, not an on-site measurement.
Sources and method
Text of this page last revised on . This date says nothing about how recent the images or data are: the webcams are supplied by the credited operators and their timestamp shows when the image was taken; model forecasts and official reports are separate pieces of information, each with its own time. The forecast applies to the point and altitude shown in the weather block.
