The route
Above Aix-les-Bains, you can drive up to Mont Revard. From the viewpoint and its glass viewing table, the loop passes through the alpine garden, crosses the forest towards the Golet de la Pierre and the former top station of the rack railway, then reaches the Tour de l’angle Est viewpoint.
You come back the same way. Take care crossing the road, and mind the fences around the alpine pastures.

- The tourist office lists the walk as open from 1 May to 15 November; in winter, Le Revard is a cross-country (Nordic) ski area.
