Le Corbier webcam: base area, Pointe du Corbier and weather

The operator’s terms of use do not allow its content to be reproduced without written consent, so AlpeSnow does not show these images and links to each webcam on the official website. The forecast is alongside.
Weather-model estimates at the stated altitude of each point, not measurements. Forecast snowfall is not the depth of snow on the ground. Source: Open-Meteo, updated every hour.
The Le Corbier webcams, from the base area to the Pointe du Corbier, one click away, with what the resort does not bring together in one place: the 7-day forecast for the bottom and top of the ski area and the latest snow depth measured on site.
In short. The Le Corbier webcams belong to the resort and are hosted by Skaping: the base area (1,550 m), the Pointe du Corbier (2,265 m) and L’Ouillon (2,431 m), in Les Sybelles ski area. The resort website’s terms of use do not allow them to be reproduced without written consent, so this page links to each one and gives the Open-Meteo forecast at both altitudes and the snow depth measured by Météo-France.

Understanding the conditions
Which Le Corbier webcam should I check?
The panoramic base-area camera, at 1,550 m, shows the bottom of the slopes and the resort: check it for snow at the bottom and for crowds. The Pointe du Corbier camera (2,265 m) gives the view from the resort’s summit, and L’Ouillon (2,431 m) the top of Les Sybelles. On 9 October 2026 the resort’s “Le Corbier en live” video stream had been offline since March, so it is not listed here.
Le Corbier, part of Les Sybelles
The resort lies at 1,550 m in the commune of Villarembert, above Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, and its slopes are part of Les Sybelles. It announces the winter season from 12 December 2026 to 9 April 2027. The forecast at the top of the page is calculated at the base area and at the Pointe du Corbier, 715 m higher.
The webcams show the sky and visibility when the image was taken. The 7-day forecast is an Open-Meteo model estimate at the base area (1,550 m) and the Pointe du Corbier (2,265 m), recalculated every hour. The snow depth is a manual Météo-France reading on site, taken during the season: out of season, the page shows the latest measurement with its date. None of these tells you whether a slope or lift is open; the official report does.
On 9 April 2026, the Météo-France post “Le Corbier” (1,585 m) measured 52 cm of snow on the ground and 0 cm of fresh snow. This observation is old: it does not describe the current snow conditions. It is a measurement at the post’s altitude, not on every slope.
Why are the Le Corbier webcam images not shown here?
The official website’s terms of use do not allow its content to be reproduced without written consent. AlpeSnow respects this: the page links straight to each webcam on the resort’s website and adds the forecast and snow information.
Are the Le Corbier webcams live?
No: they are images refreshed regularly by their operator, not a continuous video stream. The capture time is shown on the image or at the source; a view with no image for more than 24 hours is not shown here.
How high is Le Corbier?
The resort and its base area are at 1,550 m; the Pointe du Corbier rises to 2,265 m and L’Ouillon, in Les Sybelles, to 2,431 m (resort website).
Can a webcam tell me whether the Le Corbier slopes are open?
No. Snow on an image confirms neither that the slopes nor that the lifts are open: only the resort’s official report says so, with its date.
What is the weather forecast for Le Corbier?
The 7-day forecast at the top of the page is the Open-Meteo model forecast at the base area (1,550 m) and the Pointe du Corbier (2,265 m), recalculated every hour. It is an estimate, not an on-site measurement.
Sources and method
Text of this page last revised on . This date says nothing about how recent the images or data are: the webcams are supplied by the credited operators and their timestamp shows when the image was taken; model forecasts and official reports are separate pieces of information, each with its own time. The forecast applies to the point and altitude shown in the weather block.
